Monitor load, wellness, injuries, and medical status
Monitor load, wellness, injuries, and medical status
Player Monitoring brings together questionnaire results, event duration, workout results, availability, injuries, illnesses, and recovery updates. Its three areas use different data sources and should be configured deliberately.
What you will achieve:
Prepare standardized RPE and Wellness data collection
Understand the resulting team and individual dashboards
Record synchronized injury and illness information responsibly
Part 1 — Record load data
)
Import the RPE system parameter
Go to Report builder > Parameter catalogue.
Click Import parameters.
Import the standardized RPE or perceived-exertion parameter from the system library.
Do not recreate RPE as a custom question. The system identity is required for standardized load calculations.
)
Create the Load Management template
Create a Questionnaire report template categorized as Load management and add only the imported RPE parameter.
)
Create event-based sendouts
In Questionnaires, create event-based sendouts for training sessions and gamedays. RPE questionnaires should normally be sent after the event so the response remains connected to its duration.
The platform calculates session load as:
sRPE (AU) = duration in minutes × RPE
A 60-minute session with RPE 6 produces 360 AU. A one-time RPE questionnaire has no event duration and does not provide the same session-load connection.
RPE can also be entered after an assigned Strength & Conditioning workout through Log results, either by the player or a coach. The workout duration and RPE create the workout's sRPE value.
)
Review Load Management
Open Player monitoring > Load management.
Overview shows team trends, seven-day load, response rate, player rows, and load distribution where sufficient data exists.
Individual players shows availability, seven-day load, weekly change, RPE response rate, daily sRPE, event-type contribution, average RPE, exposure, questionnaire history, and custom-question trends.
Part 2 — Record wellness data
)
Import all eight wellness parameters
Import these system parameters from the Parameter Library:
Fatigue
Muscle soreness
Sleep quality
Sleep duration
Stress
Mood
Readiness
Pain or discomfort
)
Create and send the Wellness questionnaire
Create a Questionnaire template categorized as Wellness & readiness and add all eight parameters. Create a one-time or recurring sendout and select the intended players or staff.
Recipients can answer in the app or through the email link. Repeated check-ins gradually create more meaningful trends.
)
Understand the wellness score
Sleep duration is displayed separately in hours. The other seven scored system metrics form the total wellness score. Custom questions can appear as separate charts but do not replace the system metrics or contribute to the standardized total.
)
Review Wellness
Open Player monitoring > Wellness.
Overview shows recent team score, change, response rate, player table, wellness drivers, score distribution, questionnaire history, and custom questions.
Individual players shows latest total, readiness, response rate, total-wellness history, component histories, and questionnaires.
Part 3 — Record injuries and illnesses
)
Use either synchronized entry point
Player monitoring > Injury & medical provides the team dashboard and central record creation.
Team management > Player profile > Medical provides one player's complete medical history.
Records created through either entry point appear in the other.
)
Add and update a record
Create an injury or illness for the correct player.
Enter the diagnosis or type, dates, mechanism or symptoms, body area, participation status, and other available information.
Save the record.
Add status, treatment, and participation updates during recovery.
Resolve the record when recovery is complete.
Important: Medical information is sensitive. Restrict access through appropriate roles and permission templates, use synthetic data in training environments, and follow the club's privacy obligations.
How this connects
Event-linked RPE and workout results feed Load Management. Standardized wellness questionnaires feed Wellness. Injury and illness records affect availability and remain synchronized with the player Medical tab. Questionnaire histories also remain accessible in individual profiles.
You are finished when:
The Load template contains only the system RPE parameter.
The Wellness template contains all eight system metrics.
You understand team and individual result views.
Authorized staff can find the same medical record centrally and in the player profile.
