Run evaluations, performance tests, and scouting
Run evaluations, performance tests, and scouting
Testing & Evaluation uses the same basic pattern across three workflows: select a Report Builder template, create an event, enter results, and review them in the event, player profile, or Compare players.
What you will achieve:
Understand the difference between evaluations, tests, and scouting
Create an event and enter structured results
Find linked profiles, videos, histories, and comparisons
1. Choose the correct workflow
Player Evaluations record qualitative coach assessments, ratings, and comments for internal players.
Performance Testing records measurable values such as sprint time, jump distance, or strength results.
External Scouting creates profiles and reports for players who are not part of the club roster.
)
2. Create a Player Evaluation
Go to Testing & evaluation > Player evaluations.
Click Add event.
Select the players, date, and time.
Select a Player Evaluation template.
Save the event.
Open the event marked Waiting for report.
Select a player, complete every assessment item, add optional comments, and save.
)
3. Create a Performance Test
Open Performance testing and click Add event.
Select the players, date, and matching testing template.
Save and open the event.
Select a player and enter each measured value in the defined unit.
Add optional comments and save.
)
4. Create an external scouting record
Open External scouting > Player list.
Click Add scouting player and create the external player's profile.
Open Scouting events and add an event.
Select the player, scout, date, scouting type, and External Scouting template.
Save the event and complete the report.
)
5. Add scouting video and notes
Open the scouting report or scouting profile. Add a video link or upload a video, then save the relevant scouting note or comment. Each scouted player has an individual profile with overview, evaluations, and videos.
)
6. Find and compare results
Participants in internal events link to their player profiles. Scouting events link to the external player's scouting profile. Open Compare players, add up to four players, and use Manage data to choose the evaluation, testing, or scouting criteria shown.
How this connects
The Report Builder template determines what is entered. The event records when and for whom it was collected. Profiles preserve the individual history. Compare players combines selected values across internal or external players.
You are finished when:
You understand which event type matches the information being collected.
At least one test or evaluation report has saved results.
You can open the linked player profile and add the result to a comparison.
