Build a shared Knowledge Base
Use the Knowledge Base to organize club concepts, coaching standards, policies, learning resources, and supporting files in one searchable place.
What you will achieve:
Create a folder and document
Add an interactive page and file attachment
Configure categories and visibility
)
1. Create a folder
Open Knowledge base and create a folder for the topic you want to organize—for example Coaching methodology, Team handbook, or Player education.
Folders help members understand the information structure before they search individual documents. Use short, recognizable names and avoid creating several almost-identical folder levels.
)
2. Create the document
Open the intended folder.
Create a new document.
Enter a clear title and optional description.
Save the document to open its detail page.
The detail page is the container for interactive pages, attachments, and videos.
)
3. Add an interactive page
Select Add content and create a page. Use headings, paragraphs, lists, and other formatting to make the information easy to scan. Save the page when finished.
Use several short pages when a document contains distinct topics. This is easier to maintain than one extremely long page.
)
4. Attach a file
Open the document's upload action, select a synthetic or approved club file, and complete the staged attach workflow. The file appears in the document's attachment table.
Important: Files are attached inside an existing document. They are not created as independent top-level Knowledge Base documents.
)
5. Add categories and visibility
Assign a category where available and review the document's visibility. Keep internal policies or team-specific material restricted to the intended audience.
)
6. Find the document again
Return to the Knowledge Base overview. Use search, folders, categories, and sorting to locate the document as a member would.
How this connects
The Knowledge Base provides persistent reference content alongside operational tools such as sessions and gamedays. Member permissions determine who can view or manage its documents.
You are finished when:
The folder contains a document.
The document contains at least one page and one attachment.
Its category and visibility match the intended audience.
